Philip P. Lope was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania on May 25, 1949, and attended St. Vincent College where he graduated cum laude with a degree in Political Science. Philip received his Juris Doctor degree from Duquesne University School of Law and he was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1974.

Professional

Philip founded the firm in 1977 and prior to that practiced with the firm of Goehring, Rutter & Boehm in Pittsburgh, PA. His practice focuses on business law, wills and estates, municipal law, real estate and litigation. Philip serves as the solicitor for numerous boroughs, townships and authorities and has served as an officer or board member with various community organizations, both charitable and for profit. He has been a title insurance agent for First American Title Insurance Company since 1978.
